D300 Pocket Guide by George Mann

Hi, I have just put the first of a series of (Nikon only) plastic laminated short pocket guides on the market. The first one is for the new D300 but I will also come out with the same format pocket guides for the rest of the current Nikon line-up very soon.

You can find more information here: http://dpmac.com/d300-pocket/

A series of more in-depth ebooks is also in production. Please let me know what you think and how I can improve this service.

Thank you,

George

Hi Mark,

No extra payment necessary for international shipping.

For now we are shipping FREE to anywhere in the world. We use regular US Mail so it should take about a week to get to you.

Thank you,

George

Hi George

Just to let you know that the pocket guide arrived today. I am very impressed, from ordering to receiving was just six days that that takes in a weekend and across the pond from the US to the UK. The guide itself is very useful and well laid out. Well worth the money.

Hi George. I just placed my order for your pocket guide also.. Am looking forward to getting it, I'm tired of thumbing through the instruction booklet for those quick and necessary adjustments. I'm convinced! Still a lot to learn on this camera and I'm sure your guide will be invaluable.

Any ideas if any DVD's are available?

Lea, Thank you for placing the order, I am sure you will get a lot of use out of the pocket guide (I refer to it myself all the time) the only regret I have about the guide is that I can't get more information on it, but the text is pretty small as it is.

As far as i know Thom Hogan's DVD is out and I think the DVD video from Blue Crane is also available. My own Basic D300 eBook DVD is still in production.

I showed my son (10 years old next week) some of your pictures of the Seattle area and he wants to know when we can come visit. He has already done several cross country road trips with me from Maine to California, but we have yet to do the north west.

Thanks for the DVD info George, I'm going to research that. As for your visit to Seattle I bet your son will love it. There sure is a lot to see, just have to avoid the raindrops. If you make it out here perhaps we can connect. Being a military family we've done the cross country bit numerous times, and actually lived in Topsham Maine for 8 years. I call Washington "Maine with rounded corners" very similar.
I'll let ya know when the pocket guide arrives.
Always Aloha, Lea

Hi George,

I just ordered one so I will let you know. I also love my D300. I previously had the D200 and was never quite happy with it ... the D300 is fabulous. Thanks for this guide. I look forward to your book.
