Construction... it's rugged. I enjoy the finished product of low light shooting, never lets me down.. Living in Seattle that's a real plus, Lots of low light LOL I really enjoy the crispness of the photos if I want softness I still use my D70 entirely different results. I too like the sensor cleaner, has gotten me out of many last miniute situations
It's hard to pick one thing: the sensor cleaner is a big plus. Even though I don't use it alot, I really like LiveView. It comes in handy when shooting macro stuff close to the ground.
Where to start...color saturation and D-lighting are my picks for picture quality. For ease of use, the 3" LCD with it's great definition and the sensor cleaning. Such a great camera, is difficult to choose a single thing. Changed the way I take pictures, upgraded from a D70s.
I like the 4 different modes. At an event, i can set up the backdrop, two Sb600's on stands, and set the camera to remote control them for TTL...for portrats....all set on mode "D" for me....
then....set both modes back to "A" (normal mode for me) and go around taking candids with the flash working just as it should.
all the particular settings are contained within the modes, so switching between them is joyful.
My Modes:
A= normal
B= landscape
C=sports
D=portraits
